Fallkniven F1

The Fallkniven F1 is the legendary official survival knife of the Swedish Air Force pilots since 1995, setting a global standard for compact, reliable fixed-blade performance. It features a 97–98 mm (approximately 3.8″) drop-point blade of premium laminated stainless steel—commonly laminated VG10, CoS cobalt steel, or Elmax powder steel (hardness typically 59–62 HRC)—with a full convex grind for exceptional strength, edge retention, and cutting efficiency. Blade thickness is a robust 4.5 mm, supported by a protruding broad full tang for maximum durability under hard use.

The black Thermorun handle delivers a secure, non-slip grip even when wet or cold, fully enclosing the tang while allowing the pommel to protrude slightly for hammering tasks. Overall length is about 210–213 mm, with a knife-only weight of approximately 148–150 g.
