Weihrauch HW98

Weihrauch HW98 Break-Barrel Spring Air Rifle – Fully Adjustable Precision

The Weihrauch HW98 is a premium German-made break-barrel spring-piston air rifle, purpose-designed for scoped shooting and refined handling. Built on the proven HW95 action, it features a heavy barrel sleeve that improves balance, reduces muzzle flip and softens the feel of recoil, making it exceptionally steady on aim.

What sets the HW98 apart is its fully adjustable ambidextrous beechwood stock. The height-adjustable cheekpiece and multi-directional rubber buttplate (height and lateral adjustment) allow a truly custom fit, while the long forearm and stippled grip ensure a secure, comfortable hold for both left- and right-handed shooters. No open sights are fitted – this rifle is optimised for optics via its 11 mm dovetail rail.

Equipped with Weihrauch’s legendary Rekord two-stage adjustable match trigger and automatic safety, the HW98 delivers a crisp, predictable shot release every time. Smooth cocking, consistent power around the UK legal limit, and outstanding accuracy make it equally at home on the range, for field target or for small-game hunting.

Available in .177 and .22 calibres (others by special order), the HW98 measures approximately 41–43 inches and weighs around 3.5–3.8 kg. Built to Weihrauch’s exacting standards, this is a lifetime-quality springer that rewards careful technique with superb performance and lasting reliability.
