Gamo Junior Hunter

Gamo Junior Hunter Break-Barrel Spring Air Rifle – Scaled-Down Youth Model

The Gamo Junior Hunter is a purpose-built entry-level break-barrel spring-piston air rifle, designed as a scaled-down version of the popular Hunter 440. Lightweight, compact and easy to handle, it is ideal for junior and younger shooters learning the fundamentals of safe, accurate shooting.

Power is kept deliberately low (typically around 3.5–6 ft/lbs) so cocking effort remains manageable for smaller frames, while still delivering enough performance for target practice, plinking and introductory range work. It features a two-stage trigger, dual safety system (cocking and trigger safety), and a genuine beechwood ambidextrous stock with attractive chequering and a raised cheekpiece for comfortable shouldering.

Fibre-optic open sights (adjustable rear) allow shooting straight from the box, and a standard 9–11 mm dovetail rail makes it simple to fit a scope later. The rifled barrel is polymer-coated for durability, and the overall length of approximately 92 cm combined with a weight of just 2 kg keeps the rifle balanced and fatigue-free during longer sessions.

Available in .177 calibre, the Gamo Junior Hunter offers classic wooden-stock looks in a youth-friendly package. A reliable, well-made starter rifle that helps young shooters develop good technique and enjoy the sport from the very first shot.
